Desktop Publishing

  1. Utilize desktop publishing software for layout and formatting.
  2. Design and edit graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  3. Create or edit video content, including text, voice-over syncing and subtitles.
  4. Conduct quality control checks for accuracy and consistency with help from native linguists to ensure that the final product meets quality standards.
  5. Collaborate with team members and project managers for client satisfaction.
  6. Stay updated on new technologies and software for work efficiency.
  7. Bachelor’s degree preferred, especially in digital media.
  8. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDRAW) and MS Office.

  10. Desktop publishing experience required.
  11. Knowledge of IT systems and website development a plus.
  12. Familiarity with HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, ActionScript.

Data Collection Recruitment

  1. Proactively build freelance candidate pools for project needs.
  2. Utilize innovative sourcing techniques across diverse platforms.
  3. Coordinate with advisor to analyse recruitment campaign effectiveness and provide comprehensive reports to management.
  4. Collaborate closely with project managers to deliver targeted candidates.

Vendor Coordinator

  1. Source and place vendors within budget and timeline constraints.
  2. Assist in vendor sourcing, testing, and issue resolution.
  3. Support team in sourcing new linguists and coordinating tests for potential candidates.
  4. Maintain vendor database with relevant information.
  5. Monitor and document vendor performance across projects.
  6. Strong English communication skills.
  7. Basic analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  8. Attentive to instructions and responsive to emails.
  9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  10. Able to work as a part of the team.

Project Coordinator

  1. Assist in managing and supervising administrative aspects of assigned projects from project award to completion.
  2. Work under the guidance and supervision of the Project Manager and understand project scope.
  3. Support activities outlined in clients’, consultants’, and subcontractors’ contracts.
  4. Facilitate completion of projects within defined timelines.
  5. Assist in budgetary and financial control of assigned projects.
  6. Support in managing expectations of all parties involved in the project management chain.
  7. Follow workflows and processes, ensure projects are on schedule.
  8. Communicate project specifications and delivery deadlines to contractors.
  9. Coordinate scheduling between clients and contractors and ensure on-time deliveries.
  10. Handle administrative duties such as creating and sending purchase orders, proactive billing/invoicing activities.
  11. Excellent communication skills in English

    Andovar is an international localization company with production headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand. We localize content for our clients worldwide into over 40 languages. A major component of this work is a combination of audio narration with video or animations. In order to localize the audio parts we develop a script in the target language and then new audio will be recorded to go with the translated content. For this we need native speakers of the target language to narrate, monitor and in the case of remote work also record the script.

    After receiving your application, we will evaluate the studio audio test file you have provided and may then request additional voice sample audition files. Your voice sample and details will be stored in our database and sent to our clients for approval. If a client chooses your voice for a project, we will contact you to provide all project requirements and confirm the timeline for final audio file delivery. We cannot promise when your voice will be selected, if at all, but all successful applicants will be notified that they have been added to our database.

            Description:

            Localization engineers will be working with various file types for the localization process, from analysis of source files, preparing localization tools and providing support to project managers and the sales department. Each day engineers will face new and different technical problems to solve in the fast-growing localization industry.

            Requirements:

            • Two to three years of work experience in the localization industry.
            • Indian national working in Mumbai.
            • Computer Science degree or relevant degree in a technical field.
            • Knowledge of XML/HTML technology.
            • Knowledge of macro, scripting, programming languages such as VBA, JavaScript, regular expressions, etc.

            Description:

            Localization engineers prepare files for translation or work on them after translation. Engineers will be working with all major file formats, including MS Office, XML, InDesign and proprietary formats, and may be working with large text data sets. Each day engineers will face new and different technical problems to solve in the fast-growing localization industry.

            Who Should Apply?

            Although this is a junior position, you’re expected to be technically adept at manipulating and transforming data between structured formats.  That means you should be comfortable in HTML and XML as well as leading formats used in business, such as MS Office.  You will receive training in localization engineering principles, processes and software.

            This position would suit a new computer science graduate or junior web developer looking for new and interesting challenges.  If you are the type of person who likes to solve technical puzzles, this is the position for you.
