Andovar is an international localization company with production headquarters in Thailand and India. This opportunity is open to those who study or have experience in the following fields:

Desktop Publishing

  1. Utilize desktop publishing software for layout and formatting.
  2. Design and edit graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  3. Create or edit video content, including text, voice-over syncing and subtitles.
  4. Conduct quality control checks for accuracy and consistency with help from native linguists to ensure that the final product meets quality standards.
  5. Collaborate with team members and project managers for client satisfaction.
  6. Stay updated on new technologies and software for work efficiency.
  7. Bachelor’s degree preferred, especially in digital media.
  8. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDRAW) and MS Office.
  9. Positive attitude and drive for success.
  10. Desktop publishing experience required.
  11. Knowledge of IT systems and website development a plus.
  12. Familiarity with HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, ActionScript.
  13. Experience with eLearning tools like Articulate Storyline, Captivate.
  14. Ability to work well as part of a team.

Data Collection Recruitment

  1. Proactively build freelance candidate pools for project needs.
  2. Utilize innovative sourcing techniques across diverse platforms.
  3. Coordinate with advisor to analyse recruitment campaign effectiveness and provide comprehensive reports to management.
  4. Collaborate closely with project managers to deliver targeted candidates.
  5. Maintain and update candidate database for accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
  7. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Strong organizational, research skills and ability to multitask.
  9. Keen attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  10. Previous multicultural environment experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office are advantageous.

Vendor Coordinator

  1. Source and place vendors within budget and timeline constraints.
  2. Assist in vendor sourcing, testing, and issue resolution.
  3. Support team in sourcing new linguists and coordinating tests for potential candidates.
  4. Maintain vendor database with relevant information.
  5. Monitor and document vendor performance across projects.
  6. Strong English communication skills.
  7. Basic analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  8. Attentive to instructions and responsive to emails.
  9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  10. Able to work as a part of the team.

Project Coordinator

  1. Assist in managing and supervising administrative aspects of assigned projects from project award to completion.
  2. Work under the guidance and supervision of the Project Manager and understand project scope.
  3. Support activities outlined in clients’, consultants’, and subcontractors’ contracts.
  4. Facilitate completion of projects within defined timelines.
  5. Assist in budgetary and financial control of assigned projects.
  6. Support in managing expectations of all parties involved in the project management chain.
  7. Follow workflows and processes, ensure projects are on schedule.
  8. Communicate project specifications and delivery deadlines to contractors.
  9. Coordinate scheduling between clients and contractors and ensure on-time deliveries.
  10. Handle administrative duties such as creating and sending purchase orders, proactive billing/invoicing activities.
  11. Excellent communication skills in English
  12. Independent worker with strong organization and problem-solving abilities.
  13. Effective collaboration with multiple parties.

Multimedia Specialist/DTP (Kolkata, India)

Andovar is a rapidly growing globalization services provider offering a full range of language and communication services geared toward internationalizing products and services for multilingual markets. We are seeking to hire a localization Multimedia Specialist/DTP to help manage our projects.

This position is based in Andovar’s India office, located in Kolkata, India. We offer:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Adjust layouts/animations/design of eLearning, documents, graphics and video content created using different tools, Articulate Storyline, Articulate RISE, Adobe Animate (Former name: Flash), HTML5, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Captivate, JSON, XML, After Effects, Premiere, Camtasia, MS Office and others
  • Able to help engineers prepping content that needs to be translated into any language
  • Communicate with Project Managers and technical staff to resolve various localization issues

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years work experience
  • Very good spoken and written English
  • University graduate (B.A. or equivalent) or better
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office
  • Desktop publishing experience is required
  • Knowledge of IT systems, desktop publishing software and website development is a plus
  • Positive, “can do” attitude and a strong drive for success
  • Occasional evening shift work may be required
